Author Guidelines

Welcome to the submission guidelines of the New Indian Journal of Medicine.

We are committed to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed medical research. Please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts should be submitted online via email(cognitiveink11@gmail.com).

Ensure your submission adheres to the formatting and ethical standards outlined below.

Manuscript Preparation

General Formatting:

  • Manuscripts should be written in English.
  • Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
  • Double-space the entire manuscript.
  • Include page numbers and line numbers.

Structure of the Manuscript:

  • Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author’s contact details.
  • Abstract: Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) – 250 words max.
  • Keywords: 3-5 keywords.
  • Introduction: Brief background and study rationale.
  • Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology.
  • Results: Clear presentation of findings.
  • Discussion: Interpretation and implications.
  • Conclusion: Summary of main findings.
  • References: Follow Vancouver style.

Figures and Tables:

  • Include high-resolution images.
  • Number figures and tables consecutively.
  • Provide legends/descriptions.

Ethical Standards

  • Manuscripts must adhere to ethical guidelines for research involving humans or animals.
  • Include a statement on ethical approval and informed consent where applicable.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.

Submission Checklist

  • Manuscript formatted according to guidelines.
  • Cover letter stating the significance of the work.
  • All figures and tables uploaded separately.
  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest.
  • Ethical approval statements.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a blind peer review process. Authors will receive feedback within 2 weeks, and revisions may be requested.
